In so many ways it does not seem possible that we celebrated GMG 30 ! Simpy because it reminds us how time does passes by. I was reviewing an album of pictures we had on display and as I looked at them how young we looked. When you think about it we have grown up together and even more so when you see the grown sons of our members.
It was good to see members who we have not seen for awhile and that bond that is still there. As always the laughter, the incredible knowledge expressed on the "Porch" profound statements of life. The sound of music, jokes and readings and of course the Drumming!
As I wrote this, the song "We Are Family" keeps coming to me and now I will probably have that in my head all day. So to all of you, Be Safe and always be proud of who you are. To regulars who could not make it this time, know that you were missed and know that you were remembered during this Gathering. See you September 11th! GrayWolf |
